[PHUNUTHUDO] Opening of “Peace Shop”: Raising funds to support victims of domestic violence and human trafficking

(PNTD) – On July 1, 2023, the Hanoi Association of Women Entrepreneurs (HNEW) in collaboration with the Center for Women and Development (CWD) organized the opening of the “Peace Shop” at the Center for Women and Development, 20 Thuy Khue, Hanoi.

With the motto “Let’s create a happy life together”, “Peace Shop” operates as a non-profit, with a surplus to support activities for Binh Yen House, an address under CWD that is supporting women and children who are victims of domestic violence and trafficked back.

The booth currently has the participation of 8 businesses including Mountain Bees Joint Stock Company, My Anh Company Limited, Dai Linh Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company, Hoang Anh Phu Joint Stock Company, Trung Hieu Joint Stock Company, W-Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Olive Joint Stock Company, Tan Viet Culture and Education Joint Stock Company with a variety of products on display such as cosmetics, fashion and beauty products, consumer goods, educational products, etc. Some other businesses will continue to participate in the booth in the near future.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Bao Hien, Standing Vice President of HNEW highly appreciated the human meaning of “Peace Shop”. She hopes, with the enthusiastic participation of businesses and the support of the community, “Peace Shop” as the name suggests, will contribute to bringing peace and optimism to disadvantaged women who are not fortunate enough to have a peaceful life.
